Wanda Wallen Hodges

Wanda Wallen Hodges, passed away as the result of an automobile accident on Saturday, November 27, 2004. A memorial service was held for Wanda at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2004 at Dogwood Heights Baptist Church, Tazewell, Tennessee. Joyce Dorene Ramsey

joyceramsey.jpgJoyce Dorene Gibson Ramsey, age 60 went to be with her Savior on Jan. 14, 2014. Joyce was saved and baptized at an early age. She was preceded in death by several family members and in Sept. of 2013 she was preceded in death by the love of her life and the father of her five children, Claude McDewey Ramsey.

She leaves behind her children: Amy (Shedrick) Combs, Robin (Glenn) Kraft, Jill (Mark) Shelton, Adam Ramsey and Kellie (Mike) Harmon. Grandchildren, Christina Ramsey, Niki Cinnamon, Jackie Wallen, James Shelton, Eric Ramsey, Jeremy Harmon and Kayla Harmon. 2 Great grandchildren, Caleb and Joshua Ramsey. Mother, Imogene Purkey, Brother, Bill Gibson and Sister, Venis Gibson.

Graveside service at 10:00am Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at the Payne Ramsey Cemetery with Rev. Reggie Large officiating. Reception to follow at the Wofenbarger Baptist Church from 11:00am til 2:00pm. Pallbearers: Jeremy Harmon, James Shelton, Jay Redmond, Mark Collins, Devin Estes, Larry Dubois, and Jeff Lemons. Coffey Funeral Home in charge.


In Memory of

William J. Lambert, Jr.

May 26,1951 - July 16, 2021

Mr. William J. Lambert, Jr. age 70 of Tazewell was born May 16, 1951 and passed away Jul 16,2021 in his home with his falily by his side. He was a Vetran of he U.S.Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a part of the submarine service. He was the first fire chief of North Tazewell Volunteer Fire Department. William volunteered thousands of hours at the Claiborne County Historical Society preserving the Genealogy of Claiborne County.

He was preceeded in death by his Faher: William J Lambert Sr., Brother: David Lambert, Sister: Patricia Stewart.

He is suvived by his: Mother: Mariene Lambert, Wife: Carolyn Lambert, Son: Patrick Lambert, Brothers: Mark Lambert, (Terry)Gregory Lambert, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
